Event Journaling Error when quotes are retreived

Hello,

I have upgraded the CRM to version 9 on premise.

After many issues, CRM opens but I am not able to load the opportunity, quotes ,order, invoice, competitor,  sales literature pages in CRM.

The error is as follows :

Event Journaling

Invalid Recipient Type

In Event viewer the error on quote say : 'RetrieveMultiple' method does not support entities of type 'quote'

Other entities works normal.

Any help is appreciated.

    Hello,

    Based on the error message we were able to understand that other customers are affected by the same issue, however this is still being investigated.

    Could you please open a service request with Dynamics 365 support team, https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com, refer this thread and the following number, 147951518, as this will help the engineer that will work with you.

    Trying to get help for Dynamics 365 is confusing at best.

    We have this same problem.

    v8.2 with the most recent CU to v9. We hit the install bug. Fixed the XML & re-ran with success. Installed the latest CU.

    It took a few runs to get the organization to upgrade (was an in-place).

    Ultimately, had to delete the org, detach the database, restore the Db just prior to v8->v9, attach it, and import the org. That worked.

    Now we have this error (we solved the encryption warning when creating users).

    What do we do to fix this please?
