Hi All,

We need to use a custom CODE39 font for barcodes in our SSRS report.

And I have a question that how to install the custom barcode fonts in UAT / PROD (sandbox) environment?

Hi Sheikh Sohail,

I have followed the thread add font with resource type, create a report, assign my custom font, deploy report and create deployable package.

I can see the barcode in my DEV work well. (It should be no problem because I have installed font in DEV server)

But I still can't see the barcode in my UAT environment. (I have no sandbox environment so that I build a VM and install the deployable package instead.)

Have any steps I missing? And I have a question about how I apply the font resource in my project/model? add resource only? or anything I have to do it?

Hi JoanneBox,

Unfortunately, Microsoft stopped supporting the custom font from 2020, and I wrote that blog in 2019.

to handle the approach, Microsoft added a bulk of custom font, would please check the below link.

another option, You can reach out to Microsoft and request them to install the font on your VM, and the same you need to do at the time of prod.

Thanks for your quick reply.

After contacted with Microsoft Support, there is limitation that D365FO online service doesn't support installation of custom fonts currently.
