What is the best way of searching for keywords in the descrition field (free text field) in a case?

If toy want to use out of the box features, you can use either quick find view (searching using keyword type in the search box view), add the description as one of the find column, you can use filter in the view, you can use global search if using crm 2015, you can use advanced find if you find the quick find not so helping and you need many criteria more than just a keyword and you think so slow using quick find.
You can also create a report from the view you created before, use the report wizard reporting and then use description as one of the parameter filter.
