Javascript support in Mobile app for D365 8.2 version

Hi Experts,

Our customer is currently using D365 8.2 on premise version. They like to use mobile apps now.

I'm trying to understand whether the Java Script which we have written and registered on Entity forms is supported in 8.2 version mobile and tablets. But I'm not able to get any articles relevant to it.

Can you please provide some insights on this topic?

    Hello,

    It's supported. Back to 2016 when 8.2 was the latest and greatest JavaScript worked fine on the Mobile Client Application (MoCA).

    Hi Nithya,

    The D365 v8.2 is one version of CRM 2016.https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/crminthefield/posts/microsoft-dynamics-crm-dynamics-365-updates-release-dates-build-numbers-and-collateral

    And you are able to use JS web resources everywhere (desktop, tablet, mobile) on CRM 2016, but HTML web resources is special:

    For tablet HTML resources,you must check "Enable for tablets" checkbox on Web resource properties.

    For mobile HTML resource, only update to v9.0 can use it.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/create-web-resources-iframe-mobile
