Do Order-Up-To Level, and also Planning Time Fence, affect parts and when they are placed on the SmartList?

For example, I have part number 1234.

We have 1,876 in stock, and 500 more on order

Order pt qty-500

Order-Up-To-5,000

Number of Days-60

Min-500

Max-2000

Multiple-100

Purchasing Lead Time-10 Days

Planning Time Fence-30 days

This part will not come off the smartlist, even though we are nowhere near the order point qty. WHHYYYYYY??

Please help, GP makes no sense to me, any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi there,

    Are you referring to the Item Quantities - Items Below Order Point Quantity smartlist?

    If so I just did a brief test, and it once my item quantity on hand was greater that my Order Print Quantity it dropped off of the smartlist for me. Does it change if you run Reconcile for your item in question(Inventory | Utilities | Reconcile)? Can you test a new item and see if you see the same issue on the new item to determine if it is just this item or is occurring for multiple items?

    Hi Shannon,

    Thank you for your response. I am in the item resource planning maintenance window in all this. Inventory>Cards>Item Resource Planning. Unfortunately, Reconcile is not an option under my Inventory>utilities window.

    You would need to either have a user who has privileges to run Reconcile do it, or login to GP with a user who has privileges such as 'sa' to run the Reconcile utility., then see if that resolves the issue.

    Thank you Shannon! Sorry, I haven't checked this much what with working from home and everything else. I've googled endlessly regarding this window, and I think I have a better understanding of the parameters now. But thank you so much for your expertise, and I will certainly take your advice if the problems occurs again in the future! Be well my friend!
