New Schedule Check Links Feature

I'm excited to see the new Schedule Check Links feature in Oct 2020 release. The documents states users can set up a schedule to run Check Links outside of normal business hours. The feature allows you set a date and frequency but how do you specify the time the check links run? If you can't specify a time, when does it run?

This is a great question, the feature did not include a "time" element, just a date. For example depending on business a Saturday or Sunday. If you want to see the time option added, you can log a suggestion here:

Does it runs as a service? Do you need to be logged into GP for it to run? Can you run it on a workstation or only on the server? Is the time hard coded or is the value sitting in a configuration table or config file?

Hello Richard

You need to leave GP desktop client running, any published reports that report scheduler finds that have not been previously generated will be executed at midnight.
This is a great start.
18.3 is filled with rich features, I like the userdef1/2 added to GL transaction entry as well.
