changes in the account structure

Hi Dears,

I have the below issue while trying to cancel a product receipt

"Changes have been made to combination ### since the combination was last used. The combination must be re-validated to be used."

I know that this issue happens because we have updated the account structure many times from 1 year ago after posting the wrong product receipt and know we can't cancel this wrong product receipt because we couldn't remember what was the account structure.

my question is

how can I know what was the structure that was available while posting the wrong product receipt knowing that the account on the voucher was "the accountNO -- "

Regards,

Pola Wagih

    Hi Pola,

The easiest way to identify is by checking Accounting entry posted at the time of product receipt.

That entry will have dimensions available at that time.

But I would not suggest making a change in Accounting Structure.

    Thanks,

    Hi Pola,

To my knowledge there is nothing that would automatically track the date and time and allow you identifying which structure was valid on which day.

Would recommend to get into touch with a developer. They might be able to check some additional things in your database to see what setup was valid at the time.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Pola,

Have you been able to identify the previously used account structure and fixed the issue in the meantime?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

I think this is draw back, I also think this is still in current version of D365.

If you have support subscription, please raise a ticket in d365 version.

    Hi Pola,

Do you have a backup of your system for the period when the product receipt was posted? Alternatively, have you enabled the database log for the respective fields / table?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
