Hi,

I want to connect Dynamics CRM 2016 On Premise into SharePoint Online. I already follow the guide from Connect D365 On Prem with SharePoint Online.

I saw, the requirement is below

  • Microsoft Online Services Sign In Assistant for IT Professionals Beta
  • Azure Active Directory Module for Windows PowerShell

I already install Microsoft Online Services Sign In Assistant for IT Professionals Beta, and try to do Import-Module MSOnline, however, when I try to connect MSOnline, found the error below

is there any solution for this?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Please make sure that account used to run the PowerShell command is part of Office 365 Global Administrators membership. This is required for administrative-level access to the Office 365 subscription and to run the Microsoft AzurePowerShell cmdlets.

Here are the pre-requisite that needs to be installed (ignore if already done) - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamicscrm-2016/administering-dynamics-365/mt171421(v%3dcrm.8)#verify-prerequisites and important note in same article so you may want check it -

    Hi Satish,

For the requirement, I already installed it. but, still not able to connect it.

I will check for the account, is it part of Office 365 Global Admin or not.

In the meantime, I also not able to import module MSOnlineExtended as mentioned on the documents. I found that the module is no longer available, and instead of MSOnlineExtended, I found MSOnlineExt. is this the same module or not?

I think it's same module - You can find more details here - docs.microsoft.com/.../jj151815(v=azure.100) and www.powershellgallery.com/.../1.1.183.57
