Dear all,

When I checked the "Price calculation" in the Production Order, I found that there are one material don't have "Realized consumption" & "realized Cost amount" value.

What is the problem in this item? Is there any incorrect transactions?

I exported all inventory transactions of this Item, but didn't found the suspicious transactions.

We are using standard cost

    Hi!

I have just experienced the same problem with one of our customers. Some of the production orders are missing Realized consumption and cost amount in ProdCalcTrans, but all postings and transactions are correct in Inventcosttrans. It seems if that the production orders have been Ended twice! Is that even possible? We are also using standard cost on AX2012.

Is the item in question classed as a 'Non stocked product' in it's Item Model Group.. I have had this issue with service items before not bringing about a physical qty in calculations

Will appreciate if you can provide some resolution.

    Thanks.

    Hi Batra,

Yes, we did solved this already.

I found that there is one raw material have wrong status SOLD, instead of DEDUCTED. I did reset status of Production to STARTED to reverse all related inventory transactions (R.A.F, Picking lish, etc.)

Then I do re-R.A.F again, after that I can END the Production order

Just a note.  ProdCalcTrans records for a BOM Line item have their values for real consumption and real cost amount calculated using the InventTrans table.
    See \Data Dictionary\Tables\ProdCalcTrans\updateRealCalcBOM.

The following is a simply-put summary of that, and comes with the usual "use at your own risk, it's just some info I am sharing and I do not guarantee it is 100% accurate".

    1) For a non-ended production order.
ProdCalcTrans.RealConsump is the sum of InventTrans.Qty, for InventTrans records for the InventTransId with either StatusIssue = Deducted (picklist journal for item posted or item RAFd) or StatusReceipt = Received.  The value is negated (multiplied by -1) before being used.

    2) For an ended production order.
ProdCalcTrans.RealConsump is the sum of InventTrans.Qty, for InventTrans records for the InventTransId with either StatusIssue = Sold or StatusReceipt = Purchased.  The value is negated (multiplied by -1) before being used.

Either way, the RealCostAmount is then RealConsump * inventItemPrice.pcsPrice().   Note that for standard cost, the cost amount is not the sum of an amount field in InventTrans.

So if the production order has not been ended yet, and one of the InventTrans records has the wrong status (such as StatusIssue = Sold) for a BOM Line item, that BOM Line item will have 0 in ProdCalcTrans for its real values.
