Disable shortcut keyboard on grid

When I clicked on shift+down shortcut in keyboard new line created even if I set allow create to false

How can I disable this action ?

these two lines created because of shortcut

Where did you try to disable record creation? I suspect it's not been done correctly.

I tried it on extension of active method and create methods on table data source

on active I set allow create to false

and on create I passed false value

It seems to me that you ignore the logic that Microsoft has in this form. Please open code of ProjAdjustment and find all places where tmpProjAdjustmentCreate_ds.allowCreate() is called.

Then consider how you want to change the logic, according to your business requirements. Or, if you think that the standard logic doesn't work as it should, report the bug to Microsoft.

Note that the data source is set with AllowCreate = No by default. If you want to have it always disabled, regardless of the standard logic, you just need to deal with the few places where allowCreate is set to true.

Thanks for replying but I tried already to search about that where it set to true but I can't find any think , can you tell me in which method should I set it to false

Hi Menna,

Is there an actual issue when users create multiple records at a time? Why do you want to restrict a standard behavior of the grid control in Dynamics 365?
