Trouble upgrading GP 2015 to 2018

I'm trying to upgrade GP 2015 to 2018.  I've tried many times but I keep getting errors like below.  So I'm trying to upgrade to 2016 first, but I still keep getting these errors.  Can someone please tell me what is the best path to get to 2016.  My current GP is on 14.00.1162.000.  How can I get to GP 2016?  Thank you in advance

    We have several upgrade servers here and they all have a hop at 14.00.0898. Glad you were able to get to that version.

    Derek and Richard,

    Thank you both for your replies and tips.  GP 2015 was in an older version so I had to bring it up to one of the version in the post in order to upgrade to 2016.  I was able to get it to work once I applied the patch to bring the build to 14.0.0898.

    To add to what Richard mentioned, based on the duinstall.log version error, my thoughts are that you're actually on 14.00.1159 not 14.00.1162, (as there is no 14.00.1162 version) and per the 'Upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018' hot topic on CustomerSource and PartnerSource, you would need to be upgrading to a minimum version/build of 18.00.0672 or later for Dynamics GP 2018.

    Most likely, you weren't upgrading to a high enough build of Dynamics GP 2018, thus the version error being seen.

    Try applying the 2019 GP 2015 year-end service pack first. This will bring your GP version to Version: 14.00.1230.  I do not see 14.00.1162 on the patch list. I see 14.00.1159 then there is 14.00.1207.
