Workflow email document attachment in D365FO. Does anyone know if this works? Expectation is that the document attached to the transaction being submitted for approval is routed as an attachment to the workflow email but we haven't been able to make it work in D365FO 8.0 (Update 15). Thanks!

    Hello Frank,

    The standard application only allows adding a link to the d365fo environment.

    No attachment of the invoice document is made.

    I once recorded a video about this standard process here:

    dynamicsax-fico.com/.../vendor-invoice-workflow-email-approval

    If you want to send around emails with attachments you can for example make use of flow, which I documented in the related, i.e. subsequent posts on my blog.
