Case Deflection for Customer Service Portal.

I wants to add some filter criteria to the case deflection results. Where can I add? I tried modifying "Portal Search" view but no luck. Also I can see "data-case-deflection-query" and "data-case-deflection-filter" attribute for the case deflection, what is their significance?
