Does anyone know if having the ability to capture a signature in an Inspection is going to be possible?

You can capture signatures using the pen control in the mobile app. This control is already available on the OOB forms for booking. The input value of the control (i.e. the signature) can then be used for adding to service reports for e.g.:

The requirement is specifically for capturing a Signature as part of the inspection. For example, an Inspection against an Asset (not linked to a Work Order) or if there are multiple Service Tasks with linked Inspections it may require a different signature capture for each even though they may me completed on the same booking.
Currently, there is no way to capture pen / touch input in the inspection control itself. However, another suggestion might be to add the pen input control to Work Order Service task form. Since each inspection is tied to a service task, you can capture the signature in the service task to mark the acceptance / completion of the service task.
Hi - As I suspected.
We are looking at creating Inspections linked directly to Assets so may have to collect the signature on the Asset record then create as an Asset Attachment record before clearing out the field so it can be used on the next inspection.
Not very elegant but may do as a workaround - just hoping that this feature will become available as seems to me to be a fairly standard requirement for someone to sign off an Inspection.
Will you be using the work order concept to assign the inspections to a technician/inspector? If so, as Dhruv mentioned, perhaps capture the signature on the work order service task, which is the intermediary between assets and the inspection template.
