year end close and issue pulling income statement

Hi! I was wondering if someone could help with an issue I'm having with dynamics business central 365.

I've actioned the full year end close on the system for the first time. When I try and pull an income statement now for the year it comes up an empty/clear income statement. While this is technically correct as all the balances have been moved to the retained earnings I still need to be able to pull an income statement before the income statement was closed.

Does anyone know where I might have gone wrong or how I get around this?

Hi,

When I understand correctly, you did a manual year end(?)
To generate an income statement in BC, you must exclude the manual year end.
Unfortunately, there is only one option availabe: Change "Fiscal Year Ending Date" before the day you posted the manual year end.

If this doesn't work, you have to customize the Close Income Statement report.
