Edit Address access right on customer D365 F&O

Hi All,

I'm trying to assign the access right for editing the customer address. Was adding the Menu item "DirPartyPostalAddressEdit" however the customer form still not display.

Any advice is much appreciated.

    Hi Teh,

    Can you tell what duties and privileges are used in this role in total? What exactly do you mean with "customer form still not display" as I do think you should expect the address details, not the customer details.

    Hi Andre,

    This custom role purpose is only allow the user to add/edit the customer address in the customer form. Understand that the Address tab in customer form is called from Address grid form. However even I tried to add the menu item DirPartyPostalAddressEdit to the custom role, but still no luck. I cant see the Edit button when the user is assigned to that custom role.

    can you reread my previous reply? I like to know how you did built the custom role. Otherwise, I cannot say if you forgot something or how to correct it.

    Hi Andre,

    Sorry for late reply. This custom role was duplicated from Sales clerk role and we remove those role which require enterprise license. This role is mainly limit the user to perform Call Center order processing.

    Due to licensing issue, the customer do not allow this role to edit the customer records, but they would like to allow the users to edit the address.

    As you can see from the screen below, the role has a right to add new address, but the edit button was missing.

    I also tried to add all the privilege related to addresses. But still no luck. Not sure what is missing here.

    I managed to resolved this. Need to add in CustDirParty display menu item.
