Not able to activate the account structure in ax 2012

Hello Expertise ,

I need to add new account structure in advance rule .

The issue is after add new account structure in advance rule and then click on Activate button , it's not activating .

after click on activate button i wait for full day (24 Hour ) but its not activate , i also did full compilation , full CIL but and many times restart AOS service but no luck.

Please suggest how to activate this after add new account structure.

I am developer

Actually still i have not install any hotfix , Hotfix installation have some risk .

don't know which object will effect for this .

still trying to find out any other solution .

Have you been able to get this issue resolved?

If you have not been able to fix this yourself, try to get some help from a developer and/or the MS support.

--- 4 Account structure are linked in the ledger form.

--- Main account is not available in another structure which is included in the Ledger form.

Now Please suggest what should i do , is there any other solution to resolve this .

Hello Naveen Mishra,

As Ludwig mentioned; kindly check for hotfix for this in LCS.

However; before installing hotfix, can you please check below points and confirm that everything is fine.

--- How many account structures are linked in the Ledger form?

--- Is there any chance that the combination of main accounts what you selected in this account structure, is somehow overriding any existing activated account structure which is also linked in the Ledger form? Means; if any main account is already available in another structure which is included in the Ledger form, should not be again part of any other structure.

In addition; can you please send the screen shots from "Advanced rule structure" so that we can check what setups are there?

Please have a look at LCS.

Before applying any fix, consult with a system admin/developer and test things carefully.

Yes i am using AX 2012 R2.

Please suggest how to install hotfix for R2 and name of the necessary hotfix for fix this issue in ax 2012 R2.

Hi Naveen

Are you operating an older AX2012R2 system?

I am asking this because there were some issues with those old versions in regards to the activation of account structures.

If this is the case, please check LCS and install the necessary hotfixes.

If you are on a more recent machine then try to restart it to see if this fixes the issue.
