Booking Status duration change when status is in-progress

Hi,

(Pre-requisite: Have a resource requirement created with start date other than current date)

I have created a booking(past / future date) and changed the booking status from scheduled to In-Progress, then on Schedule board booked status is set to green which is correct but  task changes to the current date time slot.

    I think any work that is Location Agnostic will change the booking start time to the current time when the booking status goes to 'In-Progress' as the system thinks that you will not need to travel.

    Try it using a Resource Requirement with a work location of 'Onsite' ? I think this will not update the booking time when it goes to in-progress.

    Let me know how you get on.

    Hi Thomas, I have tried changing the Resource Requirements with work location of "Onsite", and still the issue persist.

    for example: If I created RR which has start date : 25/1/2021 and end date : 25/02/2021, then on changing booking status to In Progress it is settings to current date(lets say today's date 08/01/2021) and time slot.

    I just did some playing around on my trial instance and it updates the Estimated and Actual Arrival Time tot he current time if set to In-Progress. But this does not update the start time of the booking.

    The Schedule Board reads the Estimated Arrival Time instead of the Start Time.

    Is there a reason why you dont want this to work this way?
