Managing Activities from the Resource Record Timeline

Hello,

We would like to press the + sign on the resource record timeline and add interaction type options such as "Email" and "Tasks". Team is having a difficult time connecting tables. We do have our Resource record linked to Contact record. Resource record image attached.

We do see the email and tasks interaction types on the Contact and Speaker record timeline. Because our team primarily works in the Field Services area, it is most efficient for our team to add scheduling specific email and tasks in the Resource record timeline vs navigating to the Contact/Speaker entity.

Anyone have success with a workaround?

Hi Ldill24,

Are you trying to create the activity directly on the timeline of the bookable resource?

It seems to be impossible at the moment.

In the Bookable resource entity, 'Activities+' properties is grey-out, we can't enable it, so we can't add activities in the timeline of bookable resource, which is by-design.

If you insist on creating tasks or emails in bookable resource entity, you can create 1:N relationships between these entities manually:
