1- Is there a user guide for the Field service Free trial to share with the Customer ?
2- What is the duration of the trial ?

Hi ,
You go to https://trials.dynamics.com and sign up for trial account. After filling all details you can during setup you can select Field service alone or you can select all the apps and proceed.
Trial account is valid for 30 days. Later it can be extended for another month with proper request.
Create a CE trail and then from app source add the field service app for 30 days.
A Trial is for 30 days. You do not need to go to Appsource to download/install field service. When you provision a trial, you can elect to have FS installed. If you're looking for a user guide, you're best bet is https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/field-service/overview
