Potential Reversal of Depreciation?

Hi, I have minimal experience using the Depreciation Module in GP 2015 and am hoping for guidance.

I depreciated a grouping of assets for 9/23 and should have used the date 9/30. How would I go about correcting this? I have not posted anything to the GL, and have only completed the first portion of depreciating the asset group.

Could I simply choose the correct depreciation target date and it will adjust? Or do I need to do a reversal first?
