AX2009 Production Order reported as Finished, Job card Journal is still open

When I try to end the Production order, getting message, job card journal needs to be posted first,

or Route card journal needs to be posted first

I am confused,  since this order is reported as finished and  we have check all the journal , and found the job card , try to post it, it will not post it , getting another error message,

Feedback for job type Process cannot be made because activation via routing group was not specified.

how can I fix this message,

since these production orders reported as finished, how come there are still Job card or Route card are still open ?

can some one please help me understand this,

I  am really trying to understand Production module,

I am finding a lot of issue ,

    You can RAF an order in AX and book in stock without recording time or material. You will get an error ultimately when you end it, but it will allow you to do this if you tell it you want to do it!

    Against the routing record there is a routing group. In the routing group there is a setup - look for the line type process and activate it for recording work.

    Are you live? Looks like it has not been setup and you do not understand the processes. Can you get help?

    I am new to Production module, trying to understand ,

    the Person use to do this has left and I am trying to learn this process, is there production module , I can read, that might be helpful to understand  how this Job card and route card works.

    any help will be great.

    Your company should have access to customer source which has all of the manuals and some e-learning depending upon your access level. I would strongly advise you get your partner in to sit with you and walk you through the basics as well.

    Did you understand how to re-configure the routing group?

    hi Steven

    I checked all the set up for routing group

    our set up is like this

    Routing group  >  STd

    go to Set up >  Process >   Activation is on

    was this the type you mention above,

    than our setting is correct, but we still getting the same error message,

    I do have access to e-learning for Microsoft , I did watch it, it did not show if error comes how to solve it,

    error Message is Below ,  any idea how to solve it ?

    yes we are Live .

    So now you need a developer to debug what the message actually means and then rectify the data causing this - the message is misleading, or the routing group settings are written to a different table and set there incorrectly as at time of production and you need to locate them and correct.

    since the Production order is already reported as finished

    ,is it possible this route card journal or Job card Journal created after  RAF is misled and not to worry about this  and delete this route card journal, would this solve this issue, and not cause any other problem, 

    can you advise on this ?

    You can delete any non-posted journal, but then the costs of your production order are incorrect. Delete it and create a new one and see if you get the same message. You are adding a new route card due to unreported hours and unallocated cost.

    the route card journal has no hrs and no qty  , since there are no hrs than cost should not be incorrect. , since we cannot find solution and close these

    production orders , any suggestion will be helpful ,

    I made some changes to route card and posting the screen shot, what we are missing in this, its not letting us post this route card

    please help.
