Why wouldn't rollup fields calculate?

Hi,

struggling with a stubborn issue here (2016 8.2 on premise).

I created this rollup field that is supposed to cumulate a currency field of all related entities. After creation I

1 - waited over 24 hours

2 - started the system job manually, Runs succesfully

3 - refreshed the rollup field manually

Still, no sign of any figure but 0,00. Needless to say that I was expecting another figure.

What could cause a rollup field to not calculate? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
regards,
Jeroen

To add to the pervious post, if you check the rollupfield_lastupdatedon, this will tell you if the calculation is not happening, or if the calculation is not returning the data that you expect. If the calculation is happening, but always returning 0, then the most likely problem is an incorrect relationship in the formula

    Hi,

When you create rollup field in Dynmaics CRM system creates three fields.

    Rollup FIeld

    Rollup field_Last Updated On

    Rollup FIeld_State

I would ask you to add Rollup field_State field and check the value in it.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../define-rollup-fields

Then check value in above link. This way you will find out the reason why rollup fields value not calculating.

    Hi Jeroen,

Calculated fields are calculated on the async server, do other calculated fields work correctly?

Even if you force the manual calculation, the value still remains 0.00? If you hover with the mouse over the field, do you see the last calculation?

Maybe a redundant question, but is the field defined correctly? Is the type currency?

    Thank you!
