Migrate from Dynamics GP 2016 to Business Central On-Prem

Hello,

I'm looking for some advice on migrating some companies from Dynamics GP 2016 to Business Central On-prem. I know for Business Central Cloud Microsoft has a migration tool for GP to BC. So far, I've really only found an option of exporting the master data from GP to Excel and then using the Configuration Packages to import it into BC. The other option is using SmartConnect.

Has anyone on here done a GP to BC on-prem migration? And if so, what worked best for you?

    Hello Brad - I am not seeing a specific tool that would perform an GP On Prem to BC On Prem.  You should be able to use Configuration packages to accomplish what you are looking for or use the option for a 3rd party to do the move.

    I am sure there are other Partners that have done this, so we will see if other users can help with this post.
