Change TaxTrans Init Value From Reverse Transactions

Hello,

As far as I know, if we do a reverse transaction on a transaction that has Tax (for example on VendTrans) then D365FO will automatically create a TaxTrans for the reverse transaction.

My question is, what class should be extended to be able to change the init value of a field in TaxTrans when it is automatically created via a reverse transaction? because in my TaxTrans table there is a custom field that will always follow the value of the original TaxTrans transaction and I want to change that value. Thank You!

Hi,

You can do reverse engineering or use the Trace parser to find out what classes and methods are used. This is not a common development task, so I don't know where to hook in without performing such research. At least, the class name contains "TransactionReversal".
