NAV6 - performence Network settings

Hi, I'm new into tuning the performence of NAV6.

We have recently  made a big Network rearrangement, and that raised the latency, between client and server,  from <1ms to ~3ms.

We have made some messaurements on communication between client and server, and I can see that changing windows send SIZE and packet size can improve throughput performce.... is there some guidelines for windows size and package sizes regarding NAV6?

Clients are running window7 with classic NAV client installed locally.

    Hi

Happy for one of the other guys to step in here if they have any further information but if you are running the RTC client the data transfer is XML documents between the NAV server and Client and as such the network load in not very big,

The reason that you may see issues with networking will be on the reports that get printed and any files that your users might be transferring between NAV and their local PC's (PDF, EXEL)

My suggestion would be to leave the network card settings alone unless you determine that there is definitely a network issue, are you experiencing issues at the moment? If so i could give you some ideas of what to try to narrow down the issue and determine if it is a networking issue
