Cost threshold for parallelism

Hi there, we have set up 5 in our Always On where we run 11 Nav implementations.

    do you mean the number of concurrent users is 5 and you want to know the cost of about 11 concurrent users?

    It actually depends on the types of the (SQL) transactions your users are executing. You should have a good understanding on the (simultaneous) long queries your users generally execute.

    5 is the default value. Common practice is to put it to at least 50 and then adjust the result up or down. Also, what is your MAXDOP and how many cores does your server have?
