Analytical Accounting Details on Voided Transactions

Hi there,

I have a case where when you void a Transaction that had been analysed, the Analysis details do not come through i.e. I expect the void to effectively clear the analysis details, which is now not the case. 

Any help/ideas on this are welcome.

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for the question. There are a few issues with AA where the AA codes are lost when a transaction is voided. Most of these issues are resolved if you are on the latest builds of GP10 and GP2010. If you can let me know which transactions are having this problem and the build of GP that you are on I'll advise you further on this issue.

    Hi Rob,

    Thanks for your response. I am having this issue especially on Bank Transactions. I have recreated the scenario on the following builds of GP 2010 :

    • 11.00.1860
    • 11.00.2121

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for the advice; there are no known issues that I can see where voiding bank transactions are dropping there AA codes. However I tested voiding an increase transaction in bank rec and when I ran an AA distribution query there were no AA codes picked up, so this is looking like a possible code issue.

    Are you able to either log this as a support incident with MS or have your partner raise this with them so this can be looked into further. I suspect that this will likely end up being a bug in AA; if so this will be a no charge incident.
