Work priority changing according to changing pickup plans (WHS)

Hi All,

In a situation where you finish your warehouse work within a working day, we are using the work priority to priorities finishing work according to when the carrier comes by to pick up the goods. However, as our carriers come by at different time on different days we would like to make this dependent on the weekday. E.g. FEDEX is Priority 10 on Monday and priority 50 on Thursday.

Our current setup is to have work templates per the carrier service and work priority on these accordingly.

I have the cliche-feeling that we cannot be alone with this challenge. :)

I tried to be creative with my filters, but cannot see how i take in a day # of the week into account.

Hi Daniel,

I cannot think of a way to get the Day of the Week in to the query on the Work template. If you are creating Work on the same day that it will be picked, then you could just change the priorities on the Work templates at the end of the previous day. Otherwise, I can't think of any great solutions for this.
