Posting Dates

Hi, I need to understand posting dates allowed because I dont't know very well NAV rules.

Each NAV area, such as inventory, purchase and payable, sales, etc., has a setup page with date interval posting allowed; NAV have also a user setup with posting allowed from/to.

Is user setup less "restricted" than area setup? For example can a user with posting allowed between 20160101 and "no date" post purchase orders o purchase invoices on february even if P&P setup allows posting until 20160131?

Many thanks

    Hi Giorgio,

user setup has priority on the area setup.

He should be able to post on february too.

Giorgio made a single question, I suppose he didn't want to look for the Bible of posting date range... :)
