Great Plains Vendor Combiner and Modifier

I have tested both the Combiner and Modifier and neither appears to transfer any attached documents form the origin vendor. Is it possible to transfer attached documents with this tool? Thanks.

Hello,

At this time Document Attachment will not transfer during the combiner process. Doc Attach uses business object keys to link documents to vendors and customers that don't contain the typical SQL column format of VENDORID or CUSTOMERID that this tool looks for in the back end. This business object key also is used on transactions and many other areas of GP and not just for Vendor and Customer Records so that is why we cannot simply just add it to the tool. I think that this would be a great product suggestion as a feature for us to look into in the future. I would recommend entering it if you don't already see one out there to vote on so that others can vote on it too and we can see if this is something that large number of users would benefit from.
