CLRObject could not be created

I register a 3rd parth package in .Net to GAC (I saw it from windonws\assembly folder). I can call/run it from X++ class and works fine for me when I remote log on the AOS server computer. But when I change the 'RunOn' to 'Server' for this X++ class, I get 'CLRObject could not be created'. Any one have a clue?

You will have to restart the AOS. Somehow the AOS does not recognize references that have been added during a session. I posted a question about this a couple of days ago, since I was looking for a way to reload these references without performing a restart, but I have still have not gotten any answer.

I did restart the AOS. It still gave me same error message. I guesss it relate to account who start the AOS. But for same account, even after restart AOS, it works when RUNAS 'called from', doesn't work when RUNAS 'Server'

What OS is running on the server ? 2008 64bit ?

Can you somehow trigger the .NET assembly as an administrator on the server ? E.g. enter an elevated dos prompt (run as administrator), start ax32.exe and run your class (runas=called from, not server). Afterwards, try changing back to runas=server

We have found that this sometimes is needed, not quite sure why...

    Thanks for you reply.

I try to run ax32.exe runas 'administrator by right click ax32.exe. AOS would not start. But I don't know to set AX SERVICE runas 'administrator' from Services.

Restart AOS after set back to 'called from' and then set to 'service' still doesn't work.

Also try to 'Log on' as 'Local system account', doesn't work.

It must be some account privalege issue since it works for runas 'called from'.
