Release approve purchase requisition to purchase order in Draft status in AX 2012 R3

Dear Experts,

Please let me know if there is any control on purchase order status to be on draft status when released from approved purchase requisition in AX 2012R3.

We have a set up to enable on D365 procurement and sourcing > General > "Give purchase order created via purchase requisition draft approval status" which make sure that approved PR will be released to PO in draft status so that it can be taken to workflow.

However, this control is not available in AX2012 R3.

How can I achieve this functionality in AX2012 R3.

    Hi Girish,

    Appreciate your quick response.

    In the above link, they have discussed on Dynamics 365 Finance and operations.

    But I am looking for the set up in AX 2012 R3.

    Just wanted to confirm is it standardly available in AX2012 R3 or we have to procced with customization.

    No that thread belongs to Ax 2012 only. Refer to 1st 5 replies in that thread.

    There is no standard functionality available in Ax 2012. You need a customization.
