Event journey

Hi Guys,

I'm afraid I'm a bit lost in designing a journey in RTM for our event management.
The current situation is that we have two seperate journeys. One that starts from a segment and send out email invitations with a link to a registration form.
A second one that is trigger based and starts when an event registration is created.

I understand I merge those two seperate journeys into one journey?

Second question. We have 89 event registrations, but only 47 go to the Yes branch.

If I look at the second journey that send out the confirmation emails, 79 confirmations are sent.

What could be the problem? Is the design of the journey wrong?
I can't find a good example of a journey to use for event management.

Another error that came up today is the following:
When I use Marketing event registration created, I get an error: The selected trigger is not supported for the current data source!

Any help would be much appreciated.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

For the first issue, it is not possible to merge Journey.

    For the second issue.
Were both journeys published at the same time? For journeys published later, it is not possible to receive to some earlier event registration creation.

For the Marketing event registration created trigger, if the condition is not set, then it will respond to all event registration creation.
If the conditions are set differently for this trigger in each of the two journeys, it may cause them to respond to different events.
It is recommended that this trigger be given the same condition, e.g., restricted to a certain event.

    For the third issue.
The data source for the 'Marketing event registration created' trigger is Contact.

When I use a segment with the target audience being Lead as the data source, I get the same error.

Therefore, please check that the data source used for the journey is the Contact.

    Hi,

Thx for looking into this problem.

With merging the two journeys I mean if it's possible to create a new journey that combine the steps from the two seperate journeys into one journey? So the journey starts from a segment and after registration, a trigger is activated...

Both journeys started the same time. The conditions for the 'marketing event registration created' trigger are the same and are referring to one and the same event.

About the segment used, the audience is set to 'Contact' as you can see in my screenshot below:

Strange thins is that the journeys worked fine until yesterday. Yesterday I installed an update to the latest version of costumer insight - journeys and the problem popped-up since the update.

I am having issue with adding  Marketing Event Registration Created as a IF/Then branch withing customer Journey with error "The selected trigger is not supported for the current data source". The journey is triggered based on segment with audience as contact. The email sent does include the event registration button but still every time I select trigger, I got error. Any idea?
