I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations in regards to integrated scaling solutions for Dynamics AX? I am wanting to look into integrated solutions for our truck scaling software for raw material procurement./inventorying. There are several factors that need to play into the solution but I was wondering if anyone else had a recommendation on a good platform?
This would be for the wood industry.

thank you for all your help previously. For this particular issue we were able to move forward with a soluton.
i did want to ask though if you could give me some advice on another issue.
currently we are running into an issue in AX 2012 R3 in which committed cost against project budgets do not relieve when the invoice post.
within our current workflow we use the auto-post function after the last approval step.
I have tested this issue by removing the auto-post step in the workflown and tested posted manually (with the button on the form) after the workflow is completed and it works as intended (the committed cost clear).
so it seems the root of the problem stems from the job behind the auto-post task. We have done some debugging with no resolve as of yet. I thought I would run this by you (as I have seen a few others post similar issues in the past) and see if you may would happen to have a recommendation that you could share?
Also, I did a brief issue search on LCS and did not find an exact match to our issue as of yet there.

Ideally, an add on solution out of the box but I am open for discussion on both routes.
Currently, across our facilities, we use two different platforms. Within those systems, our fiber team creates vendors, master-agreements, purchase orders (which contain rates for material per ton, land/tract information, etc), scale house tickets for in/out scaling transactions, creates vendor invoices (which get exported and then imported into AX for payment), and the system is used for load out for finished products.
I need a solution that is better integrated with AX and one that could be standardized across the organization. I know my statement above is more broad, very brief, and higher level but I hope you can get the jest of what I am looking for from it. You can send me an email if you rather, than discussing on the board? Also, we are on AX2012 R3 (latest version) and we will be migrating to D365 in the future.

In the past, I was involved in creating an integration between a scaling solution and Dynamics AX 2009. This was a specific customization for a company trading sand and grind.
Are you looking for a "platform" to be able to create an own integration or are you looking for an add-on which can do it already out of the box? Depending on your business there might be not only a scale integration required, but also features for pricing. E.g. Price including transportation, but having the wood and transportation turnover on separate ledger accounts.

Have you already checked the MS Appsource site for available ISV solutions?
Also, can you let us know if you work with D365FO or AX2012.
