Free Currency Exchange rate provider for a US based client

Hello Community!

I'm working with a client who is on AX 2012 R3 CU9, looking for currency exchange rate providers in the US.  We found that OANDA is an option, but has some subscription costs...

Is there an open source provider that you know of, for a company using USD as their base currency?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    We have used Oanda at many places, not sure if anyone feeds API for free in AX? The other problem is, can will the business users trust exchange rate feed, the reason I am saying this is because this has direct impact on transactions and reporting and business users do validate numbers and exchange rate on reports. In my case, most of the clients were already using Oanda and they went with it as nobody agreed to consider any other exchange rate provider and they wanted any manual update.

    The other option can be that a user can update the exchange rate daily in system as the first thing in morning, i know people will not like it but it does saves cost and can be considered is no. of currency and transactions in foreign currency is limited.
