Hi,

I want to delete a leave type that I created. When I try to delete the leave I get this "Leave and absence type cannot be deleted while dependent Leave and absence request detail exist. Delete dependent Leave and absence request detail and try again."

Originally I went into power app and delated the record. and that didnt work. I then went into the leave request details excel page and went to delete the record but this error comes up:

Delete failed for table row of type 'EssLeaveRequestAssignedDetailEntity'. Infolog: Warning: Time off request detail cannot be deleted as the request is in Denied state.; Warning: The entity record could not be deleted because validation failed for the following data source: LeaveRequestDetail (LeaveRequestDetail).'

What do I do from here?

Hi,

Did you submit the request to workflow as it says 'the request is in denied state'? If yes, then cancel the workflow and try to delete the request again.

Hi Adbul,

I just tried to cancel the workflow and I get a response that says "workflowtable context table ID reference. 13 is not valid.
