Hi Folks ,

One of my client upgrades from AX 2012 R2 and Dynamics 365 , data also to be upgraded.

The question is how to test the data healthcheck that all data has been upgraded correctly to new AX application. What is the process of to check the data and best methods ?

Any light on this highly appreciated?

    One option would be running the consistency check in the system admin module to identify some incomplete/missing setups.

    D365fO has no data upgrade publicly available yet from previous AX versions, so it would be good if you could clarify what exactly do you want to check. Is this master data and open balances/order that you are importing via the Entity framework (DIXF)?

    You could do record count in Table browser or in SQL for the tables where the data structure is the same both in your old, and in your new system and see if you could spot any difference.
