How to access value from cus (Customer) Layer to usr(User) Layer having different Models?

I already have defined EDT(Extended Data Types) in cus layer of Application Suite model.

Now, I have created one model named "Application Suite Custom".

I have customized existing table of SalesLines which already have SalesLinesExtension having 3 EDTs fields.

I want to access those 3 EDTs. Is there any way to access those 3 EDTs fields in my current usr layer

    Hi,

    Try to export those EDT from CUS layer then import it to USR Layer.

    Do you mean you wanna modify it?

    Object from Lower Layer(CUS) can't be modified by Upper Layer(USR)

    Forget about layers, your Application Suite Custom model must refers the EDTs models, if don't it won't compile

    Actually my EDTs are already created in model named "CustomSales" and I am trying to access the same entities in model named "ApplicationSuite".

    I have tried to add those references in ApplicationSuite Model. But it doesn't allow me to access those fields in my SalesInvoiceDP class.

    It is showing an error like "We can't use these entities because they are created in different model.'

    Can you please help me out with this problem?
