Reason codes in journal lines (from template/batch)

I have set up batches on my item journal templates and whse journal templates for "phys inventory"

On each, there are pre-set reason codes.

When using the "calculate inventory" function on a warehouse physical inventory journal, or "calculate whse adjustments" function on an item journal the reason codes on the batches/journals does NOT populate on the lines in that journal.

Therefore, what is the point if having the reason code on the batch/header/journal if the user has to remember to put it on the lines??

I remembered that it is one of the bug in NAV.

The Calculate Inventory on the Warehouse Physical Inventory Journal does not use the Reason Code on the Batch. Physical Inventory Journal is working, but not the Warehouse one.

It is an easy fix if you can do dev.

Did you set the reason code on the batches or on the Template ? If you set the reason code on the batch and select that batch in the inventory jounral and then execute the Calculate Inventory it should populate Reason Code.
