Production order line Remaining quantity exceeds Estimated quantity

Good day everyone,

For a production order 320 pieces of an item were picked and consumed (see picking list journal).

According to the BOM, the estimated (and picked) quantity was 320 pieces for item number 08075899S4.0, which matches the picking list journal. However, I have forced the production order in Started status with the Automatic BOM consumption set to Never. This somehow caused the Started quantity to become 340 instead, which results in having 340 pieces on remaining quantity as well. 4604.pastedimage1626344201211v1.png

As the production order was canceled, I already put the original quantity back on stock via a picking list journal wih Proposal set to Full Reversal. But I can't close the order according to our "ZeroQty procedure" because of the 20 pieces difference.

Any ideas how I can get the remaining quantity back to 320?

Hi there,

I think you are in the wrong forum. If you are using F&O, then you will want to place your question in that forum. Your post came into the Business Central Product line....which is a totally different product viewed by different users. Thanks!
