    Hi

ISO Code can mean many things, for example the ISO Country codes:

Please give a bit more detail about what you mean here

    Cheers

    Hi Nev,

Actually is ISO for Quality management. In addition, I have to manage the ISO code in different documentation. Should I use the concept of "Report Selections" in Navision? Can?

    Thanks?

    Hi

Sorry still not completely sure what you mean, I'm trying to shift my brain into ISO 9001 gear but it has been a while :)

Still not sure what you mean by "Manage the ISO Code" but i will put down a few ideas

If you are looking to store additional information against records, you can do this in a couple of ways:

If it is a defined list then dimensions are your best bet as this will allow adding fixed information and there are many options to report on this

Notes and notifications allow you to capture more free text kind of information and show allocating responsibility of a record or process using the notifications within NAV

    The report selection table:

The report selections table allows you to define what reports should print when the print button is pressed on for example a sales order, using the sequence number it is possible to have more than one document / report print when the print is triggered (So always print a terms and conditions after a sales order is printed), this could also print quality checklists after printing a return / manufacturing order /... etc. (Just as a few ideas of examples)

Hope i haven't completely missed the plot

    Cheers

    Nev
