Hi,

I have a scenario,

The user created the Leave Request and submitted this request for Approval via workflow. This leave request was Approved by the Approvers by Approving the Workflow. Now the Leave Request is with the Status Approved.

Now for the Above Approved Leave Request, due to some reasons the Approver who approved, Now wants to Cancel this Approved Leave Request.

Can some one please suggest, HOW TO CANCEL THIS APPROVED LEAVE REQUEST in AX.

Sincerely,

Muneeb

You can't cancel the approved workflow but why do you need to do that - it was correctly approved and that is a valid record. That process is over. You are now in HR, so try this:.

1.Click Home > Common > Absences > Request absence approval.

2.In the upper pane, select the worker for whom to cancel absence requests.

3.In the lower pane, select the approved absence request to cancel.

4 .Click Cancel. When you cancel the approved absence request, the corresponding absence registration is removed from the absence journal.

    Hi,

I have my record for which 2 days leave request was Approved.

However, in for the same duration I cannot find any record on this form. Plus, I didn't see option to select the worker in the upper pane? I am simply unable to do anything besides entering the date. (Find below the snapshot of the form.)

Are you using standard HR or Payroll I which case the absence records maybe in a Payroll module - (and maybe the HR feature configuration is switched off.

if you approve an absence record, then after that step what record is created where?

Presumably this has been done previously for other workers? You can always Absence information link with Payroll module of AX 2012ost an absence  in a test system and see?

I've never used the Ax standard Payroll so I can't give any advice about it. We use our own HR/payroll tables in Ax. its possible also that you may have an isv solution.

    Hi,

All the configurations are enabled, still the same what I shared earlier. No records found in the form shared above and cant even create as there are no options to create as well.

    Sincerely,

    Muneeb

    Hi,

After troubleshooting, i have figured out a way which is detailed below:

    - As in example, the employee puts the leave request from date A to date B. Now this leave request is approved.

    - Now the Available X Type of leaves are 8 and Used are 3 (No of days from A to B).

    - Now from the All Leave Request page select the above leave request and click on Re-Join & put rejoin date as A. Once the Rejoin workflow is approved, I saw the Available X Type of leaves increased to 11 and the Used leaves became as zero.

Is this the right approach? Anything else to be verified besides what is detailed above.

    Sincerely,

    Muneeb

    Hello Muneeb!

It seems you are logged in with different user. Only the user who is assigned to an absence setup can see the absence request. For any other user system will show nothing.
