Hi Y'all,

One of the GP users in my company gets this error ("Access denied to this chequebook. Please reselect") when trying to do a bank transfer. When she selects the look up button for the account to transfer to, the error pops up. I have confirmed she has the relevant permissions. The strange thing is when she logs on to my desktop using her GP profile there is NO error!? The transfer is using the same currency.

I am confused...is the issue with GP, SQL, her physical machine or her domain profile??

    I believe you have Cash Book Management installed? If so - you will need to set up access in Cashbook Setup. Try that and let us know.

    Is this the setup you get to through Cards/Financial/Bank Management/Set up? If so, she has the access rights to the relevant chequebooks. As I had mentioned earlier, she can log on to my machine using her GP profile and do the transfer with no errors. All the desktops here have been installed using the same source DVD.

    At times, you might probably have to reset the access rights to the user on those checkbooks. Open the Bank Management Setup -> Checkbook Access window. Select the user, remove access and grant access again.

    Above solution would work only if you do not have any access record being stranded on CB100006.
