How to create JSON file with Dynamics Nav?

Hi!

I'm want to create Json file when you have change in table Employee. This Json file I'm write modify record. After this I want to deliver it with a web service to update the change data. This will be an external web site that will work with data of NAV. I'm use OData service. How to create Json file?

You can return JSON with an NAV object published as web service by using this url:

http://<Server>:<WebServicePort>/<ServerInstance>/OData/<web service>?$format=json

NOTE: The value of the format attribute must be lowercase: ?$format=json.

From 2018 JSON is supported out-of-the-box.
