Agent Scripts and Macros: Open Email Template and change From field to support email

Hello all,

in Customer Service Workspace/Customer Service Admin Center, using a Macro to open an email template, is it possible to instead of the current User being added to the From field of an email, to set the From field to a Queue or even just set the From field as the email address i.e. support@mail.com

Calling the Open Email Template works like a charm. The To field is added correctly and the Template opens.

Macro attributes/values: Attribute 1 and 2 work well, it's the Attribute: from that I can't seem to figure out.

Even though the email address is hardcoded, the from field stays as the current user.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

    Hi jacobusdeana,

The 'From' and 'To' fields have same data type:

So you can try to use same format to set 'from' attribute value:

    [{“id”:””,”type”:””,”name”:””}]
