I feel that this is a *simple* question, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. How do I track BASELINE HOURS in PSA? I need to track cost, schedule, but also the hours. If I have a project that is a total of 100 hours (baseline), I need to be able to see actuals + planned remaining compared to the baseline. I need to see this information at the project level (roll-up) and also at the individual task level.
ProjectExec_312 the tracking tab on a project row is where you'll be able to track your project's progress. If you're talking about baselining like in MS Project then that's not available in PSA.
Does anyone know if the baseline feature will be available in Project Operations? I'm not sure why they would rid us of the ability to set and track to a baseline. Seems odd.
ProjectExec_312 what we have in PSA when it comes to the tracking tab and its related features is pretty much what we also have in ProjOps. Proper baselining, as we know from MS Project, has never been part of PSA and it's currently not in Project for the web either (thus it's not in ProjOps). There have been feedback sessions by the product team(s) about this so I know they're investigating it. In the meantime the best we can do is vote up this idea on UserVoice:
