How to extend the Master Data Management App?

In BC 2023 (can't remember which version), a new feature called Master Data management was introduced. (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/release-plan/2023wave1/smb/dynamics365-business-central/set-up-sync-master-data-across-companies).

How do I extend this feature? I cannot find any app file for this feature.

Get the app id from https://github.com/microsoft/ALAppExtensions/blob/main/Apps/W1/MasterDataManagement/app/app.json

The create dependency and download symbols.

Hello,

There is a blog post on this by Yun Zhu.

Basically, it is an _Exclude_ apps so it cannot be found inside base or system application.

You extend MDM the same way you would extend any base app feature in Business Central — using event subscribers, table extensions, and page extensions.

To extend the Master Data Management (MDM) app in Business Central 2023, create an AL extension that uses MDM APIs to customize data synchronization, modify pages, and implement custom workflows or error handling.
