Mass deletion of entity records note (Annotation)

Hello good morning, how could you make a massive deletion of the records of the entity note?

I have to delete all the note that are related to the entity Case (example of elimination validating between 2 entities), how to perform this process? :(

Hi,

For each bulk delete execution, there will b a system job which is actually performing the said task. You can find that system job and cancel that.

Hello I have done the mass removal by the assistant as I mentioned, but I can not cancel or stop it when it is already running?

Hi Angel,

In one of the subsequent steps of the Bulk Delete job wizard it will prompt you for when you want to run the job.

You have the option of doing it immediately, scheduling for a specific date/time, or having a recurrence setup with the minimum being 1 day.

Hi Angel,

In order to mass delete you can utilize Bulk Delete jobs inside of the CRM system.

To locate this, go to Settings - Data Management - Bulk Record Deletion.

From here you will be able to create a Bulk Delete job, specify the Note entity, and add the "Regarding" filter to look at Case.

Here is a screenshot of the query:

This will delete all Notes that are regarding a Case.

Once you hit Next and progress through the wizard, the Bulk Delete job will run and the notes will be deleted in the background.
