Embedding Web Apps into the AX Client

Hi,

we have several web apps that we use for business processes and they will not retire for a long time. However, is there a way to embed the web app or website into the Dynamics client? This way we would be able to have all web resources in one unified environment (AX client). Thank yo for your time.

    You can insert a Microsoft Web Browser ActiveX in a dynamics ax page and display a web page.

    As per Nuno reply, you can use Microsoft Web Browser ActiveX. But, you need to think about the following points

    1. If you include all users especially non ax users in AX rich client, it will consume AX license

    2. The web user can work with their friendly web browsers (Chrome, IE, FireFox and so on). But, here no options I think.

    Hi Daniel

    You could enable Role Center and move your web apps on a SharePoint page\Role Center page.

    You can also create a new Role Center page. Take  a look at technet.microsoft.com/.../jj945384.aspx
